BSBC Students

BSBC Student Ministry’s focus is teaching our students the word of God and aiding our students to become Gospel advancing. Our mission statement is “Disciples to Disciple Makers”, because we believe that the Word of God mandates us to make disciples and teach them to become disciple makers. It is our belief that a student who shares their faith grows exponentially in their faith, as well as stay true to it under the pressures of college, adulthood, and the world.

Making Disciples

BSBC Student Ministries meet twice a week, Wednesday 7:00 PM and Sunday 9:30 AM in Building B. While students meet in our newly renovated youth room, we learn and discuss the Word of God. Our goal for each lesson is to establish biblical truth in the lives of Christians while building a foundation that will not crumble under the pressures of a fallen world. These truths and foundations set a precedent that each student is called to a purpose under the authority of scripture. That purpose is found in Matthew 28:19-20: “Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe everything I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

Making Connections

Here at BSBC Student Ministries we also believe that Jesus Christ has called us to a life of fellowship with other believers. So, we attend and/or host many fellowship events. For example, we attend summer camp every year in Panama City Beach called Super Wow and take a weekend rafting trip down the Ocoee River every summer. We also host movie nights, fishing tournaments, and other events to bring us closer together as a group.

We hope that you will become a vital part of BSBC Student Ministries. We love to see new faces walk through the doors. If you have any questions about BSBC Student Ministries contact Youth Pastor Kurt Ricks by email bsbcstudentminister@outlook.com
